How we give back
Supporting our local community is deeply important to our hearts. These are some of the organizations we have had the pleasure of partnering with.
A shop takes up space in a neighborhood, and that comes with some obligation to the people already doing hard work in it.
Rather than spread ourselves thin, we give one organization our full attention at a time. Right now that is Bundled Blessings, an Evanston diaper bank — because diapers are as essential to a child's health as food and shelter, and one in three families here can't afford enough of them.
Before Bundled Blessings we spent time alongside others in Evanston and Chicago: housing for neighbors facing homelessness, childcare and a sense of belonging for local kids, homes for animals who need them. Those partnerships have run their course, but the work has not, and we still send people their way.
