More than a shop

Stories are what connects us. We have built a community of friends who personally know most of our designers and local artists — and many who come in simply to share their own.

Everything here comes from a small, independent designer or artist — many of them working in Chicago and the neighborhoods around us, others further afield, all of them making in small batches or one piece at a time. We know most of them personally. That is rather the point.

We've since said goodbye to 1503 Chicago Avenue; you'll now find us at 610 Dempster Street. The shop is open Wednesday through Saturday, and by appointment or by chance the rest of the time — call or email and we'll open the door.
